Title: Female Purple Finch?

Saw this bird along with a few other Finches and a Goldfinch and I've narrowed it down to a possible Purple Finch female, but I'm not sure and would like some help.

that's a female red-winged blackbird

everyone gets fooled by this one at least once!

Yup, she's much too big to be a Finch :)
