Title: Snowy Owls - Minesing
Post by: thouc on January 19, 2018, 12:49:44 AM
Saw five Snowy Owls (and got photos of three) in 30 minutes of driving in Minesing area. Also got my first Lapland Longspurs for Ontario in a Snow Bunting flock.

Wow, great to see an adult male in the mix. That area is also good for Rough-legged Hawks. A friend of mine told me that last Sunday he saw 14 Snowy Owls in Minesing - the wave is upon us.
