When I first took the picture I thought it may be a female golden eye but now I dont know .

Yes a female Goldeneye. As for gulls I am terrible with IDing those.

The juvenile Gull is a Herring Gull (note black wing tips, Iceland Gull has white or almost white)

Thank you thouc , Now I can possibly  identify 3 gulls .
