Title: Scarlet Tanager this morning
Post by: Ally on May 10, 2018, 09:39:09 AM
Hi, I was so excited when I noticed that was a Scarlet Tanager not a Cardinal on my tree this morning. Lighting was bad, my pics are bad as usual... :D  :D

Lucky you ... haven't seen one yet this year.
It's hard to get a good shot when you're excited,
as is always the case when you see something you
didn't quite expect. Saw a Tennessee warbler which
I didn't expect and got so excited that accidentally
pushed for live-view, then turned it off again, then hit
another button by mistake and the wheel selected the
wrong adjustment. By the time I recovered it was gone.
Maybe the tanager will stick around a while and see the
sites.

Thank you so much for ps it for me, now it looks so much better. I have been pretty lucky with visitors to my feeder or my neighborhood.
