Looking for help to identify type of Thrush.
Taken at Pt Pelee last week
Thanks

It doesn't have a ruddy tail and rump so its not a Hermit thrush despite the whitish
eye ring. Could be a Gray-cheeked because I can't make out the cheek patch and there
is a hint of a buffy lore so I'm thinking a Swainson's thrush. Wait for someone that really
knows ID'ing of thrushes.
Nice shot though, terrific lighting and good pose.

I think it's a Gray-cheeked. No buffy colour on chest or eye-ring should rule out Swainson's.

pretty sure this a swainson's....a gray-cheeked doesn't have a defined eye-ring like this and their seems to be too much colour in both the face and body. The only thing missing for a classic swainson's would be more defined buffy spectacles.

Swainson's Thrush in my opinion. Eye ring and overall colour and the cheek does not seem dark enough for a GC Thrush

I think I agree with you now, that it is a Swainson's Thrush.

Thank you everyone for all your help with this identification.
Certainly learn more from your comments and observations than I read in my several i.d. books.
Thanks again
