Hard on the neck, isn't it. Don't tell me those birds aren't aware of it.
They enjoy making us crane and contort to get the shot laughing all
the way to the next concealed perch while sadistically luring us ever
deeper into entanglement. It's entrapment I say, and I won't stand for it.

you are so right. I spent 15 minutes looking for a wood thrush who kept on calling on the tree top without success. I went away, and realised he caught up with me, still couldn't find it...
