At around 7:30 pm this evening I just happened to glance out our Kitchen window and I noticed a female Ruby Throat Humming Bird moving amongst our Rose of Sharon's looking for nectar. (No leaves let alone flowers).
The only thing in bloom in our yard are the Lilac bushes out front.
It was very cold on Monday morning up north this past weekend, heating system was required overnight Sunday.

Or maybe she was looking for spiderwebs to build her nest nearby--hope so for your sake! and of course they eat a lot of insects and spiders, too, so she could have been hunting. So lovely to have them back again.
