Tough to get a low angle and clear shot of this tiny little bird

Both excellent poses in perfect low-contrast light that features the
warm tones of the Bittern. Must have been early morning light.
These shots calm me right down. I wonder how long it will stay at CSS
because Dinusaur couldn't locate it last Sunday yet eBird flags are
more numerous that lights on a Christmas tree.

Great shot Meghan.

On Sunday it was hiding in the Cattails in a different pond; however, I managed to see it on my return visit on Tuesday, March 22nd. Yes, it is continuing in the park it seems. This is the fourth time I saw a Least Bittern in CSSP since 2014, very much around the same time in the year. This one appears to be more co-operative and comes out in teh open quite often.

I was there all day on Tuesday Dinu, I am surprised I didn't see you
SS, Thank you. Tuesday was overcast all day which was when this was taken, I rarely go out on sunny days to photograph.
