Title: Yellow Shafted Flicker
Post by: northerner2 on May 29, 2018, 06:10:35 PM
I have been off the grid on this group for some time.
I am devasted today as I hit a Flicker when driving through Georgetown. I am quite upset, given the nesting season, etc. I do hope the partner survives and the nest does too.
I had to say this because I have a Flicker visiting my interlock quite often digging for ants. (along with all the other birdlife)

It is unfortunate and not much you can do. It is a beautiful bird.
