Title: Swallow babies- Colonel Sam Smith Park
Post by: Ally on July 07, 2018, 03:02:45 PM
Hi, I found these two cuties by the yacht club, there were barns and cliffs around, but they weren't being fed while they are in sight, so I don't know whose babies they are.
Can someone please help? Thank you. :P  :P

They look like juvenile Bank swallows but I'm not familiar with young swallows
so you'll need an expert's opinion.

Thank you, while I got you, can I please ask you a question. I just had two Eastern Kingbirds visiting the deadtree on my neighbour's back yard, but both of them appeared to have brown bellies. I only have one badly lit photo, but he was dancing in the air right in front of me, almost as brown as some robins. How could it be?
