I did not intend on doing any birding this weekend but I happened to be near New Hamburg this weekend and heard that a pair of Red-headed Woodpeckers were nesting near there. This is a lifer for me.

Not only the elusive Red-headed but even it tongue.
Perhaps you should refrain from birding more often
with results like that.
