Title: Spicebush Swallowtail
Post by: Ed O'Connor on August 06, 2018, 11:33:46 AM
Walking through High Park on the weekend, I saw a number of these swallowtails, including this unusually fresh specimen. Apparently, Spicebush Swallowtails are attracted to the park by the many stands of Sassafras trees there, which they use as a larval food plant.
