Title: Skunk Patrol 5am, and a Red Fox
Post by: Napper on September 25, 2018, 08:15:39 PM
Each and every workday morning this month I have spotted at least one Skunk during my walk to the GO bus stop here in Milton. I walk down the road instead of the sidewalk jiggling my keys.

Two weeks ago on a Recycling day just after leaving the house I almost stepped on one while crossing the street in front of the neighbours house. It was a very dark night and our street lights were not working, Luckily I was not sprayed.

This morning was a little  different, I spotted from a distance what I thought was a Coyote crossing the street from the school yard that is along the way. As I approached the street it ran down it reversed its direction crossed the street again and ran into the school yard.  A lot closer now It was then I realized it was a Red Fox. Mr Skunk was spotted a few seconds later, same school yard 200 feet from Fox.

Skunk patrol  Over and Out!

Recycling day tomorrow oh joy.

p.s  my record is 3 skunks one walk
