Title: Tiny Township and the trip
Post by: Napper on October 05, 2018, 05:14:57 PM
Hey!

Departed around noon today heading for the beach, I lost count  after 10 , American Kestrels  North of hwy 9 to Hwy 26 on the back roads I used today!
I don't recall seeing this many ever along the way.

Large group of Red winged Blackbirds approaching hwy 9.

When I arrived I spotted Dark Eyed Junco's flitting about near the beach road. 10 Turkey Vultures soaring in a tight circle above the beach

I delivered our election votes to the Tiny Township office on Balm Beach rd. When I got out of the vehicle all I could hear were Grackles and Red wing black birds in the trees, it was very loud. I asked the ladies working outside how long this has been happening and the answer was, it started this morning.
