Several of these magnificent birds were hunting in Tommy Thompson Park this morning. Saw one or two low over the water at Pipit Point. This one had just killed a Dark-eyed Junco on Peninsula B, where there were also two Peregrine Falcons and the young Bald Eagle that's set up residence there over the past few weeks. Check out those talons.

Oh no. I didn't expected the first time this year I hear my beloved junco was as a casualty. Thank you for the post. I love predators too. May go check out soon. :wink:
