Title: sam smith on friday
Post by: Brian S. on April 22, 2008, 02:39:59 PM
On a brief visit to sam smith park (Lakeshore and Kipling) on Friday, I got to see a broad-winged hawk gathering nesting material.  It would light on a tree with some nice dead branches and break off just the right length with its beak.  Also saw both Kinglets, a flock of yellow-rumped warblers, american widgeon, red-throated grebe, bufflehead, goldfinches, mute swan, song sparrow, and white-throated sparrow.
