A couple of weeks ago, I was at Col Sam, when I watched a Northern Shrike fly to a thorn bush by the water and tried to hide his prize for a later meal. There was quit a stir as the 2 mockingbirds wanted nothing to do with this mouse in their tree, after a short loud discussion, the Shrike retrieved his dinner and flew to another far off tee to hide for another time....sometimes you just never know what you will find.
