Got my first Pine Grosbeaks for Ontario, right at a shopping center in Barrie (outside Chapters on Barrie View Dr)

They seem to be everywhere this year this far south. Congrats for your Ontario lifer.

There was a report, so I knew where to look. It's amazing who unafraid they are. Sometimes you suddenly realize there is a bird just a feet or so in front of you.

What a great opportunity and shot Thomas.  I have only seen them from a distance but hopefully will get a chance to see one up close one day too.
