These two were pretty close on this shot. Late day sun setting, light a little funky :)

I'd say it looks like a dog-fight with a bogie on its 'six' lining up for the kill.
Then again, they may both be female and therefore we're witnessing a cat-fight.
I'm thinking, we must really introduce the term owl-fight to cover all-gender contingencies.
This semantic dilemma is making my head explode.
Keep the action coming owlman. We need some anticipatory excitement here in the ward.

Oh my, magical shot! Are you a real person like me? How come owls always do special poses just for you and you always have your camera ready!? :lol:

Well it takes hours of waiting to possibly get photos like this. This shot is not often captured for me anyway. The snowy owl I photograph on low on the ground behind a fenced property with no Trepassing. The good new is late in the day around 3-3:30 or so they emerge from their resting spot and that is where I have my opportunity. The select higher perches such as utility poles or treess on public land so this makes the wait worth the effort. Sometimes it doesn't work out but most of the time it does.
