G'day everyone,
Went for a bit of a stroll at the newly redone Rouge Marsh at the end of Lawrence Ave. in Scarborough. Must admit, looks much nicer than I thought it would. Bird wise I saw the usual suspects, including Red Wing Black Birds, House Sparrows, Ring Billed Gulls, Robins, Cormorants, Grackles, Canada Geese and Mallards. I also saw 3 pairs of Common Terns, which I believe will be nesting on the fenced off portions of land in the main marsh. Also saw a single Caspian Tern and a pair of Trumpeter Swans. Here are some photos, I hope you enjoy them.
