Title: Eastern Pheobe, Milton
Post by: Napper on April 08, 2019, 04:57:53 PM
Hey!

Was cooking supper a little while ago When I noticed a bird flycatching in our back yard. Well this is weird  .

Never seen this before in Milton. Pretty sure it's a Pheobe  correct me If I'm wrong.

Had an interesting bird of Prey at Downsview today I'll keep you posted, it flew over our heads quite low and was too big to be a Kestrel.

Saw a Snowy at Downsview twice last week,

it still had some heavy barring on is feathers.. Not seen  it since.

lets see if this will work, quickly switched lens and snapped a few it stuck around quite a while.

Sorry best i could do with limited software on this machine.

You must have a lot of flies.
No reflection on you, I'm sure.
I saw my first Phoebe of the season today but I didn't see one in the place where I expect them
to first appear. Also saw my first RC Kinglet of the season and first sighting of Tree Swallows
careening over Reesor pond. Only three male Ring-necked ducks left. One male and the female
were nowhere in sight. Nice pose on your photo.
