Title: Barn, Swallows, Milton
Post by: Napper on April 21, 2019, 05:14:50 PM
Was packing up the vehicle for the trip up North this morning, when I heard a familiar sound and there flying over the street were two very noisy Barn Swallows.

Bird wise, the Cottage was pretty lively considering the weather over the last little while. Heard our usual woodpeckers.

Still a lot of ice mounds along the shore at Bluewater Beach near Concession 5 and Some thick ice floating around at Balm Beach.

edit: I almost forgot, spotted a Merlin high above the house, Very easy to I.D. with its Scream like Call.

Oh I caught your edit.

I saw a cassowary in my yard today. In fact it's looking inside my window right now with a very angry face.

The TV's are back in numbers...flickers back...along with lots of RBW's...and starlings...sigh.
