That's a tough one. Cannot see black on the primaries but the bill seems smaller, not bigger.
Then again all this is very esoteric. If it isn't definitively a Forster's then its probably a Common.
The attempt at ID is giving me a headache. Best left to the birders that know what they're talking
about but they have not responded because they are too busy being esoteric. On the other hand,
I never learned to just shut up.

I would say that the middle one is a Common Tern (short, darker, more red legs, grey body) and the rest are Forster's Tern (longer, more bright orange legs, white wing tips). Where was this photo taken?

I was following a report that there were two at Bronte on Friday. Only thing is that all but the Caspians looked the same to me.
Later I was told that someone had 9 Forsters at Bronte. Now I don't know what I was looking at.
There were common terns for sure that were flying but most were not in flight.
