Title: Worm-eating Warbler
Post by: Dinusaur on May 06, 2019, 07:57:37 PM
A Worm-eating warbler (they love caterpillar) recently showed up in the woodlot area of Westside Marsh in Bowmanville. I dropped by there in the afternoon of May 5 and after searching for about hour and half finally got to see it briefly - just enough to get a few photos before it disappeared in the forest floor. A very hard bird to photograph for sure.

Great photos! I have never seen one before. Your photos are even better than those on the field guides.
