Once upon a time, a toad was feeling very guilty about a past indiscretion.
Guilt can be a cruel serpent best left for devotees of Dostoevksy.

The toad took a hop in the woods to clear its head and find some solace in spring.

The toad never came back.

The moral - You can be eaten up by guilt.

Great story, wonderful pics. I am not a huge fan of either creature though. Will jump on the sight of a snake...

I love snakes and toads - looking forward to much warmer weather and seeing both at Erindale Park out here in Mississauga.
