Here's a shot of the Prairie Warbler that's been hanging around near the Visitor's Centre at Tommy Thompson Park for a couple of days. A very active and vocal bird, it pumps its tail like a Palm Warbler.

Excellent!
The visitors center. That's rich. They have no idea what it COULD be.
I would love to see a Prairie warbler. How long has it been hanging around?
I wish I could get around more before the migration ends.

I believe it was first seen Tuesday morning. The bird was around all day Wednesday, but I haven't seen any reports of it today (Thursday).

I dropped by Wednesday (May 8) afternoon and saw it along the road just north of the visitor center - a stunning bird.
