All very nice!! You are one of the few people I know who can make an overhead rump shot work, and the last one reminds me of the time I flew out of Resolute Bay in a DC-4 (Northstar?). I'm not sure it was standard procedure but while on the tarmac there was a strut under the tail that was used to support the rear of the plane. Unfortunately, after boarding several of us had to move forward because the strut could not be released! Interesting times (1963) indeed.

I had some shots of a black and white warbler butt, that was so cute, with some round black dots covering the tail to belly. Dunno whether I deleted the pics though. Next time :D :D

Oh my god! you got one sitting in the nest. I really liked the Gnat catcher twins you posted before. Do you still have it?

I don't recall a shot of twin BG Gnatcatchers. I recall a pair of Eastern Phoebe on a branch
taken next to Highland Creek in Scarborough but that's a flycatcher, not a Gnatcatcher.
Could be, I just remember the cuteness doubled!
