Spring is nearly done, I have one bird trip left, a trip to the Carden. Here are a few birds I have seen this spring:

Great collection and wonderful photos!

I inspect your long list of captures and think, oh ... this one I like best,
and then I scroll down and repeat the sentiment, and then I scroll down
some more and say it again. I've always wanted to get a good shot of a
GC flycatcher so I'm partial to that one. Also, I've completely missed a
Palm warbler this spring, so that one strikes a chord. Nice set indeed.
Where did you see a Prothonotary warbler? Certainly not around here.

Thank you for your kind words. The Prothonotary was seen at Rondeau PP, it was my first ever visit to the park. But, a PW was seen last week at the Toronto Islands.

Great set indeed. Hope you get to see some unique Carden species during your next trip. I was there towards end of April and not much in sight except for the Meadowlarks. But now I am sure the place is full of other grassland birds.

Thanks! Yes, for the last several years I've been going to the Carden trying to get the Loggerhead Shrike and other Carden species. But so far, I've been skunked....hopefully this year will be the year. I'd love to get shots of the Grasshopper Sparrow, I've been working on learning its call.
