I met this beauty this morning. Haven't been introduced...

Ally, let me introduce you to Swallowtail - a beauty indeed.

I am obliged!

El Tigre. Nice find under terrificly diffused lighting conditions.
Lately, every time I see a butterfly alight someone comes by and disturbs it.
There are more people than butterflies, more people than birds, more people
than mosquitoes. The parks are certainly being utilized but most of that utility
comes with a dog or a bicycle coming by at a steady, unremitting pace, like
traffic on a runway.

I agree with everything your said except for the mosquitoes. They attack me!

If a mosquito bites you and ignores someone else then I agree that
they prefer you. That must mean you are very sweet. Apply DEET
nonetheless. It keeps the ticks away as well as the red ants. I have
a big bump on the back of my neck from an any bite sustained at
Cranberry Marsh. At least that's what think the bump represents.
Maybe I'm just growing another head. Some cars used to have
twin carburetors and some day I may have twin heads and then
I won't be a half wit anymore. I will need to use more sunscreen though.
