Title: Catbird with eye trauma?

Good evening,
looking for some identification help with this one.
Photo'd in Beachville this morning.
My guess is Gray Catbird but looking to confirm due to eye trauma.
As always, truly appreciate your help.

C'est ne pas Catbird.
Il y a un corbeau.
The Catbird is sleeker, a lighter gray in colour with a back cap.
Its beak is much slimmer and smaller and its tail longer.
This looks like a juvenile crow or something from the set of
one of those medieval TV series.
