Can anyone suggest a good place for eagles close to GTA, if not, Ontario? Thanks

I presume you mean Bald Eagles. For now they are nesting further north; however, one or two still seen at various locations close by. Best place I can think of is Valley Inn in Burlington, or Coots Paradise in Hamilton area, one or two will hang around this area almost everyday. Only yesterday someone told me of a Juvenile trying to steal a fish from an Osprey in Valley Inn. While there I also saw an adult flying overhead. Of course in the winter months Hamilton harbor is the best place to see them gathering on ice.

I believe what Elias was referring to was the Bruce Street Wetland in Keswick. There used to be an Eagle nest in the middle of the Heron Rookery there. Two years ago that nest was abandoned and the Rookery was destroyed from erosion and high wind. However, the eagles are still seen off and on around that area, probably they moved their nest somewhere nearby and still prefers this area for hunting as Cooke's Bay isn't that far away. Here's a photo of the eagle and a chick from that nest taken in 2015.

Yeah it's just at the end of that street Bruce Street..if you punch it into google maps you should be able to see it. Not exactly that address but at the roundabout...it's just they don't allow parking there so be careful you don't get a ticket or towed.
Been there a few times and have seen eagles and ospreys each time...I assumed they're still there. A friend of mine went earlier this year and saw a juvie Bald Eagle. The cool part is that you might even see Black Terns and Forster's Terns there. Not to mention Herons, Egrets and Bitterns. It's actually a really cool place to bird...just the parking situation a bit suspect
