I managed to see the Marbled Godwit in Tommy Thompson Park together with a bunch of other shorebirds on Aug 10. On the same day I also saw the Red-necked Phalarope together with Stilt, Least, Semipalmated and Yellowlegs in Ashbridge's Bay Park. On my way back from Kingston on Sep 2nd, I dropped by Presqu'ile to look for a Western that was there for few days. I couldn't differentiate it from many Semipalmated though I looked for it for about hour and half. There were many Sanderlings, 50+ Semipalmated Plovers and a few Baird's in the beach area. I also looked for the Western in Hamilton Toll Gate Ponds - no luck. In between I have seen a few common ones in Downsview Park and also in G. Lord Ross Park. In recent times, Cell 2 in Tommy Thompson Park showing some good number of Shorebirds including Short and Long-billed Dowitchers that are continuing for a while now.

Here's a photo of a Baird's Sandpiper that I took yesterday at Ashbridges Bay. There were three or four of these beautifully streamlined sandpipers on the beach yesterday between the volleyball courts and the grassy area, and they allowed a fairly close approach. I also saw Least Sandpipers, Sanderlings, and Semi-palmated Plovers, the last of which were totally indifferent to pedestrians and Canada Geese.(https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48737807602_e4275da1c9_c.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/2hfN1cC)Baird's Sandpiper (https://flic.kr/p/2hfN1cC) by Edward O'Connor (https://www.flickr.com/photos/152894743@N08/), on Flickr

…….Did you photograph any of those shorebirds you saw, or have you
done it so many times that you didn't pursue the task?
Yes I did and here are photos of the Marbled Godwit and Red-necked Phalarope.
