Title: Curlew Sandpiper

One juvenile vagrant recently showed up by the banks of Grand River, east of Belwood Lake in Wellington County. I took the opportunity to drop by one day to take a few distant photos of this life bird. Though on surface it looks very similar to a Dunlin this time of the year; there are enough differences to set this one apart. For example, long eyebrow, peachy breast, white rump (last photo), more upright posture and longer legs, just to name a few of the differences seen in a Curlew Sandpiper.

Amazing find. You may likely have responded to  REPORT of the Curlew
but to actually find it is just tremendous. Now I'll need to look up where
this place is located, not that I'm going anywhere.
