Festival of color on the day of celebration of Festival of Light (Diwali). A few from a visit to Downsview Park on Saturday afternoon. From top to bottom - An Eastern Bluebird (male), An American Kestrel (male) and an Eastern Phoebe.

Wow, how do you find birds there all the time. An eastern Blue no less. I never seem to be able to find anything when I visit.

Nice finds Dinu, especially the Eastern Bluebird, a species I've been thinking
about lately because when I rarely get to see one and if I do get lucky it tends
to be during either November or December. Obviously, being a caregiver I will not
be hunting for them this year. Wish I was there. Nice colour on the Kestrel too.
Now that the blast of October colour is on the wane it's nice to find some natural
colour elsewhere.

Nice shot, like the bluebird and rich background colours. Have yet to see one of these beauties in the wild, my day will come.
