Had a great morning at the Spit today. Saw a total of 60 species including 13 Warbler and 7 Sparrow species:
Warblers:
Northern Parula
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Nashville Warbler
Palm Warbler
Cape-may Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Northern Waterthrush
Sparrows:
Chipping Sparrow
Savannah Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Song Sparrow
House Sparrow
Swamp Sparrow
Also had Eastern Meadowlark, Baltimore Oriole, Solitary and Spotted Sandpipers, Brown Thrashers, Great-crested Flycatcher, 2 fly over Common Loons and a Red-throated and Common Loon out in the lake near the first gate.
