Title: Accipiter identification
Post by: Napper on December 07, 2019, 08:17:46 PM
Goshawk vs Coopers vs Sharp shinned

Not quite as detailed as my Raptor bible but it's not bad.

At first I thought Fig 21 was incorrect but it is correct.

Well...strangely....reading that made me feel better despite realizing that I'll never be able to ID a sharpie / cooper / Goshawk.....the best I can do is say it's not a RTH or a TV....I do pretty well with male harriers.....we have a lot of harriers around here....oh yeah....I can ID an adult BE with great reliability....bit of an expert actually if anyone needs help with one.
