Title: Migrants in Earl Bales Park
Post by: Leslie Kinrys on May 04, 2008, 08:41:21 PM
We went with friends for a two-hour walk. The highlights were:

1 Double-crested Cormorant flying through the area
4 male Rose-breasted Grosbeaks feeding together at the top of a tree
The Eastern Phoebe is still by the bridge over the Don River
3 Barn Swallows also near the bridge
1 female Wood Duck flying out of the woods
Ruby-crowned Kinglets
1 male Magnolia Warbler
1 Northern Mockingbird

Also, the Blue Jays are back. There were 8 feeding in our yard this morning.
