Title: Coyote, Milton
Post by: Napper on February 14, 2020, 08:05:15 PM: This afternoon around 4 pm I spotted a Coyote on the South side of Derry Rd. near 6th line Milton while riding a Westbound GO Bus.

This Coyote was less than 20 yards from the edge of Derry Rd during heavy rush hour traffic, I was seated in the upper seating section of the doubledecker.

It was odd, the Coyote looked like was backing off from something it was trying to prey on. It looked like it had no tail as well.....

More odd or maybe not :roll: no one on the upper level even noticed.

I am always looking, and aware of my surroundings at all times... umm.. when I am awake. :oops:

Post by: Axeman on February 16, 2020, 12:24:14 AM: yeah it's weird what people just don't see....I spent the first 3 years at Erindirt trying to see deer on campus....finally a prof. told me that they're always around...they walk on the paths with people walking around...cross in front of crowds....people don't see...you just have to learn how to see.

That's one of the things I love about winter. During the summer, I have no idea how close wildlife comes to my house.....in winter....the tracks always amaze me.

on some of the new dinosaur finds in South America. Anyway, he has been
known to take some prehistoric artifacts home with him. For example, he
installed cast of dinosaur footprints into his back garden. When the neighbours
saw them they presumed that the footprints were the real article and wondered
what could have left such enormous tracks and they were immediately informed
that the footprints were dinosaur tracks. One women exclaimed in shock and horror
that she had no idea that they came so close to the house.
