Title: Unwanted visitor
Post by: Napper on February 15, 2020, 06:22:27 PM
My wife (recently retired ) is very sensitive to sounds at night (Princess and the Pea syndrome).

She is not very receptive to me  playing music at concert level volumes in the evening three levels down in the basement while she is trying to sleep.

Recently she has been complaining about sounds in the attic above her at night. We have trapped I believe the same "expeltive"   squirrel three times in the last two weeks and driven it across town on the other side of Creek only to have another noise in the attic the same night..

Today we finally blocked the believed entry point at the soffit and guess what.. Squirrel in the attic... an hour later.

Squirrel trap in attic this time with Moth balls at soffit.

Happy Valentines day!

I think I am going to put some speakers in the attic..

Napper

I had a similar experience (driving critter to another area) with chipmunk....took her awhile to return but she made it back....she was a pain on the deck...climb up pant leg....pee on you while you sat at table on deck....nibble on toes....

Get a ferret....that way you don't have to worry about cooking it either -- the ferret will eat it.
