Title: Brown Snake?

I presume this is a Brown snake.
Well, it's brown and we don't have that many snakes.
I know a snake in the grass when I see one, but I
don't necessarily know what flavour it is.

Yep...weird how the line of spots disappear on the close up....you didn't just see this did you? When was pic taken?
