Eastern Phoebe is the first flycatcher to arrive in spring (April). If I could get out I would be
up at the mini swamp waiting for them. Eastern Phoebe have a strong contrast between dark head
and off-white breast breast with a little brown streaking at the sides. It has barely gotten warmer
and already there are flies everywhere, even wasps. It's like spontaneous generation!
