Title: Mushrooms
Post by: Ed O'Connor on April 08, 2020, 11:11:52 AM
Generally speaking, the Leslie Street Spit is not a great location for mushrooms, if only because there's not a lot of dead wood lying around. However, between Peninsulas A and B there's a stretch of forest where a number of trees have fallen over and conditions are moist year round. On a walk there yesterday morning, I saw these mushrooms growing out of a tree trunk. Perhaps one of the mycologists who frequent this board could identify them?
