Well, staying indoors too long is no fun, perhaps these images will bring some smile.
1. After catching a fish this Osprey flew by too close to the geese. Now these could easily be repeated while walking on sidewalk these days. So maintain your social distancing, otherwise you may hear some snide remarks.

Line-ups where ever you go. Even have to line up to go fishing. This is ridiculous!

Despicable me ... I forgot my mask.

This social isolation is the pits.

I must remember to sneeze under my wing. I really shouldn't be out.

Listen up you guys. This is ridiculous. If the health department sees what we are doing they are going to fine our feathers off.
EVERYBODY GO HOME!

Haha - good ones SS.

LOL those are all amazing.
Here's my contribution. I always found this picture funny, a study in contrasting personalities.

Ah yes, one of those Ring-necked ducks with very short stubby legs that mostly fail as keel and propulsion,
causing the stricken fowl to list from side to side in a display of uncontrolled rolling. The Longtail
has seen it all before, cringing each time the water gets choppy and the instability resumes.
Now the Longtail is entirely committed to closing its eyes to avoid witnessing the oscillating calamity.
Have you got a shot of it listing badly. I love when that happens. We need the sound of bells and a
fog horn to complete the scene.

The Highland Creek Gull Choir must practice now and then or lose their cohesion but they maintain social distancing during assembly by keeping six webbed feet apart.

“Hey, you doves up there … you are too close. That’s not a good example of social distancing.”
“Relax, it’s OK, we discovered that the coronavirus is afraid of heights. We read it on-line … so it must be true.”

“Relax, it’s OK, we discovered that the coronavirus is afraid of heights. We read it on-line … so it must be true.”
Must be a Trump quote from one of those WH briefings.

The thought that crosses my mind these days every time I get a tickle in my throat.

A Tall Tale. After finding a captive audience in this juvenile Herring Gull (2nd CY), the Canada Goose didn't miss the opportunity of telling the gull his often repeated fish story. A little bird humour. I went to see a rare visitor in the form of a Slaty-backed Gull which I saw, but I found this photo more interesting despite two very common birds in this photo. Sept 26, 2020. Mississauga, Ontario.
