Finally a (new) warbler, a Black and White, heard some others, couldn't find. Finally got two kingfishers on the same tree, not a good one; two killdeers together, and 3 deer in safe distance.
-
One deer was quite relaxed, he sat down right in front of me, the other was stomping the ground a bit, funny to catch with their tongues out, and gave me the look. It seems all of them are males.
-
Hard to get all three in the same shot
-
Little ones
-
Kingfishers and Canada Goose
-
So many deer and so close. Social distancing and rampant domesticity is likely culpable in the apparent relaxed behavior and laissez-faire behavior of GTA wildlife. This year it is merely clear that the shear lack of fear so sincere in your deer made them appear and let you get so near. Although a little queer, these deer are just here to leer, or even sneer at you and your gear because you are not at home with a cold beer, or pursuing your career. They want you to get with the program and just disappear. I’m just saying.
