I realize we can't see its breast in this photo, but hoping for help with ID anyway. Thanks in advance!

Swainson's thrush ... brown bird with buff around eye, eye ring and no ruddy back, rump or tail.

Thanks so much! I had narrowed it down to Swainson's (olive-backed as opposed to russet-backed) but I wasn't quite sure. I am still not a super-confident birder! Appreciate the assistance ...

Anyone that is super-confident is usually incompetent. Years of practice only
makes it slightly easier.
