Saw my first L'ill Brown Bat this evening...just the one....although it seemed a bit on the large side...but my almanac says when you see the first bat, summer (spring is part of summer) is here to stay....until fall....when winter comes for the next 7 or 8 months.

Over the last week, we've bats on our street and also in the Don Valley.  No idea about species identification, but I guess likely little brown bats.
