Title: ..and just lilke that it's over
Post by: lovemypt on May 24, 2020, 01:53:33 PM
Was a pretty good morning for warblers in my local park today.  No great numbers, but a good selection of ones not seem this year yet.  I added Blackpole, Mourning, Orange-crown and Wilson to my spring list making a total of 24 warbler species seen this year.  Not bad concerning the weather, winds, and Covid-19 problems, which made for traveling around to hot spots not advisable. I stuck to my main park and all my species were seen within, no rarities but higher species count then I thought I would end up with.

There was also 3-4x Black-billed cockoo's seen and singing away this morning

See what the rest of summer brings now!
