Saw my first fireflies of the season last night! Yippeee!!! It's my favourite time of the year -- beats Christmas even!

Yarp.

We had Firefly's on Thursday in Milton around 12:00 am, Out with the Dog after work..

Funny, No Cicada's yet.  hmmm.

P.s. Never saw the large insect again. It really did look like a Large Yellow Jacket.

We had a firefly in bedroom the other night...I couldn't get to sleep.

No June bugs this year...

Cicadas....little early, no? Aren't they more of a late August thing?

Fab pileated pic btw. Thanks!
