Accidentally found this, couldn't tell who, and killed by who. Possum?

Looks like a deer from the hair.....more likely either car....natural or coyote....coyotes creep up on sleep deer and jump on their backs and reach around to hold neck....

Haven't ventured out in my trail for a while. I hear Cardinals, chickadees, no deer or coyote paid a visit.

A deer visited a bird feeder that a neighbour had mounted on a tree located on the boulevard. After a few minutes a delivery van approached on the street (naturally) and the deer quickly bounded back into the adjacent woodlot. I watched it feed for a few minutes and took a few pics before the truck arrived to bring an end to the event. Even without the appearance of the vehicle, a pedestrian would have entered the scene to bring about the same result sooner or later. Prior to this I hadn't seen a deer for a couple of months.

Coyotes are EVERYWHERE.

And I'm always amazed at what co-exists with us and we rarely see signs of. That's partly why I believe in Bigfoot lol
