Yes, they are hard to come by for sure. However, I see them quite regularly in Downsview Park, must be nesting somewhere nearby. In 2017 I saw this interesting artificial chimney tower that was erected for them to nest in a park in Durham, NC - not sure if one ever did.

Haha, maybe they saw the photo and thought, this chimney is taken.
